Sweet Rev3nge
Graffiti as art, graffiti as an revolutionary act, graffiti as satire
Within the work „Sweet Rev3nge“ three Artist are communicating with their own methods.
The center of the exhibition is the fictional character Fetish. The self-declared fighter for Capitalism is using methods of a milieu that usually is an opponent to the system. So he might catch attention beside financial times, news on the TV and other mainstream media. From the green suburbs with their mansions and absence of evil, he dares to go downtown to do his duty. For he is one of the last keepers of an antiquated and ambivalent social order. He is fighting for the last unprotected and most outlawed minorities – the establishment. For it finally get’s what it’s deserve – acceptance and obtaining the hearing of the masses. His weapon is the word. In temporary function on objects or seemingly invisible on the banknotes. Hopefully he will spread comprehension for the few on which the anger and the envy of so many is projected on.
The graffiti are mostly black and gold. The gold is a symbol for the value and the appreciation for the capital as well as for the increase in value of the modified objects. The black is underlining the seriousness, just like a tailor made suit. The writings on the banknotes are made with UV ink. It can only be seen under black light. This generates a value which is not tangible just like the actual value of the banknotes where the striking messages are written on.
After all, revenge is sweet!
The video artist Federico Gaumitolo has accompanied Fetish on his forays through the unreal stages of the city.

Some 1,5 years ago I met Carlito. He is a professional Photographer and I want to become one. So I started assisting him. One lovely day he asked me to work together as partners. It has been a very good collaboration ever since. I happen to have access to a very nice place where we opened our studio in the middle of Berlin. I`m so glad I met him.
These are some pictures from January/14 taken by me at our stuido called “Rückblick”. He also took very nice shots. I´m sure he is going to upload them very soon.

Here are some pictures I took during the summer 2013 while having fun.

Here you see some pictures from the series “What is important to me”.
This project evolved during the class for applicants at the Ostkreuz School for Photography in Berlin.
We were given the task to deal with something that is important to us. After thinking for a long time I decided to take pictures of friends of mine. To spice it up I told them to bring their favorite item, so that I could deal with people as well as with objects. As my group of friends include a huge variety of different personalities, they brought a lot of different things with them.
It was a lot of fun working with all of them.
I also wanted to do all of that in a studio-like atmosphere. It was also an opportunity for me to work with three different cameras. I used a DSLR, a SLR and a medium format camera. The idea was to find the instrument that fits my style just right. I just started using analog technology this year and I was thrilled to see the difference in comparison. It worked out really well. In the end I made eight different zines, one for every friend I took pictures of.
Thanks to all the people who helped me make this project a reality.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.

The pictures from my first exhibition.
They were displayed in a group exhibition about Moabit at the 100th anniversary celebration at the Amstel House Hostel in Berlin, Moabit on15 June, 2013. Now they are going to find their way into the hallways of the hostel and are for sale.
The pictures feature a small part of my series about Moabit, he part of town where I live and which I love. The whole project will contain about 30-40 works, which will deal with the subject in a more graphical way. But there will be typical Moabit-scenes, too. I`m trying to display them on a bigger scale when the project is done.
